The New York Times recently announced that Apple is testing designs for a smart watch running their mobile OS, iOS. This kind of watch would feature a 1.5 inch LCD display and would be connected to your iPhone or whatever else iOS device, allowing you to do basic operations from your wrist, like sending emails and text messages. The NYTimes said that sources “close to Apple’s testing and prototype environment” reported a low-power Bluetooth technology and a design that would allow a longer battery life. It is also rumored that this iWatch could feature a specific flexible type of glass to better fit on people’s wrist.
